Logan's first week home....

Well...its been a major change but very good. Shelby and Gracie are adjusting to having someone else take Mommy's attention more than normal, but they are very sweet to him. Gracie gets bored with him easily and Shelby on the other hand is wanting to hold him all the time. I love having a boy. Its very very different than what Im used to but so special. He is already so spoiled! We went to the doc on Friday and he weighs 6lbs 14oz and 19.5 inches long..growing stronger everyday... Shelby calls him Logan Patrick and Gracie calls him Bubby...We are blessed beyond words..have a great week everyone <3

We are thrilled to announce the birth of our baby boy! He is loved so much already and I just can't get over at how much he looks like my dad and brother! He has had a rough start to his life but God is so good and has made him almost healthy enough to go home!! I cant wait to bring him home and have the girls meet him...Logan has truly completed our family and I cant wait to see what joy is in store for our lives with him in it...

So on Wednesday I went into early labor...I felt ok that morning but as the day went on the worse I felt. Around 8ish that night I was too uncomfortable to not get checked out. I dilated 1cm and am 50% effaced. I had to have 2 rounds of shots to stop the labor and then they made me take 2 muscle relaxers before I went home =/ lets just say we got home around midnight and I didnt really wake up until 130 the next day. NOT how I wanted to spend my days off but me and Logan are good now and thats what matters. I have a great husband who has pretty much taken over all of my wifely motherly duties I cant physically do. Thank God for him...On Saturday we went to the waterpark in Temple with my dad and took the girls. Gracie baby cried at first but not long after she was literally running all over the place. We will go often! Shelby loved it of course and Im sure my dad was wishing he would have worn his swim suit so he could have joined us! Later that evening we went to my Grandma Vance's house and had dinner with my Auntie Sarah, Cipriano,lil stud Jack,Uncle Adam,Uncle Mark and his fiance,my dad and of course the grandparents. Today after I got off work we went back over to my grandparents for a Memorial Day BBQ. My grandma makes THE best brisket! We had a great time but Im totally exhausted so Ive laid on the couch all evening and napped for a good hour while Gracie was snoozing and Joe and Shelby went to the store...much needed. I know I need to keep off my feet as much as possible so I dont have to be put on bed rest. Just keep praying for our growing family...this belly of mine is so huge I really dont know how in the world it will ever get bigger lol. God takes the best care of us and Im so thankful. I hear soooo much bad day in and day out it makes me appreciate so much. Im about to start the countdown til Logan gets here soon...I go to the doc on Fri and we'll decide!!! I really don't know how to even start this blog...
Well...I'll just begin. Wednesday May 28, 2008. A day that will never be forgotten or lose meaning... That afternoon at 5:28 pm I gave birth to a beautiful and perfect 7lb 10oz baby girl who I named Natalee Nicole. I never got to hear her cry or have her wrap her precious and tiny fingers around mine...nor will I ever get to. She was a total Griffith and looked just like her daddy. Never knowing anyone who has lost a child, I was in complete shock....I still can't believe it sometimes...But I also see it as a blessing, b/c my Natalee will never hurt or have heartache b/c she is with Jesus where I just know she watches over us everyday... We buried her and bought the two plots next to her... I go about every week and take flowers over there...I've never been the kind of person who does that, but again I've never had a child that's passed away either. She will always be our tiny little angel, and I am so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to have her the time I did. I feel for Joe b/c he didn't get to have her the way I did, but he is so amazing and wonderful and he, God, and the prayers of others is what's gotten me thru all of this. I'm still far from healing, b/c I just don't see myself ever not missing her and wondering what she would be like or look like, but I just take it one day at a time b/c thats all I can do. I dunno why I felt the need to write any of this down....maybe for healing, or maybe for ppl that haven't been in my shoes will see that it IS a big deal and it wasn't like a miscarriage...I had a full term baby....no matter what anyone says she was perfect....and will always be in my eyes....

This is my beautiful baby girl Shelby! I can't believe that she is getting so big!! She is really a talker now, and has her " moments" of the terrible twos...but she is so smart and so dang cute that if I am getting on to her for something she gives these cute little faces and I can't help but laugh....

She loves Elmo and of course Barney, but her all time favorite thing to watch it 101 Dalmations I think we watch it at least once a day most of the time more...

So yes I know I know it has been an eternity since I've even updated my blog!! A lot of new and wonderful things have been going on in my life! I married the MOST wonderful man ever on September 29, I have a new job that I started the week before that and I am doing great and I LOVE it so so much, I've already gotten a promotion and hopefully within the next 2 years I will be directing my own Glamour Shots studio!! And here goes the GREATEST news yet....some of you I haven't gotten to call or see due to my crazy work schedule, I found last week that I am going to be giving Joey his first child and Shelby a baby brother or sister!! I am so excited....God blesses me so much...it took me almost 3 years to get pregnant with Shelby and no time with this one! I can't wait! I will try to keep postings....but like I said I am crazy busy at work and when I do have free time I am with my hubby and my Shelby girl! Here are some pics from the wedding! HAPPY 50th!!! I love you so much dad and I cannot even begin to tell you how much of an impact you have had on my life and now on Shelby's! She sure does love her grandpa!! You have done nothing but sacrifice for me over and over again when I know there are times when I know you shouldn't and didn't know how you were able to. Your the greatest father....I will always be thankful for the things you have taught me and the things you continue to teach me everyday. The next 50 years will be even greater! I love you so much!

MY BABY IS WALKING!!!!

Today Shelby "officially" started her walking! She has taken a few steps here and there, but today when she and Na Na (thats what she calls my mom for now, ha ha) got home she stood herself up and walked around in some circles and then sat....I was clapping and laughing and she got very excited with herself so me and my mom got on the floor and took turns turning her around for Shelby to walk from her to me......I am soooo proud of my baby girl! Right now it's that "drunken" kind of walking, but I know that pretty soon it will be running around! YIKES!!! ha ha OK...have a wonderful and blessed week everybody and thank all of you for keeping me in your prayers...they definitely worked!

MY BABY IS A 1 YEAR OLD!!!!!

March 31 was my baby girls first birthday! It is amazing how the time has flown by...She is truly the JOY and LIGHT of my life! God has blessed me with her and I can't imagine my life without her in it....I hope you enjoy the pictures....Take care everyone! Love you much!

It's extremely hard for me to believe that my baby girl is already a year old...so much has changed...

She is starting to take steps...no full fledge walking yet, but that day is soon coming.. I had a party for her today and I have to say that was really hard for me especially with my situation and my health, but she had a blast and got so many nice gifts...

Hey everyone!
Life is crazy like me...so...yeah....
Shelby and I are doing great!!! She's getting bigger and bigger and smarter too! Work is not so wonderful just yet, but I have a few new opportunities coming up so thats an answered prayer right there....
I want to take the time to let all of you know how thankful I am for all of your prayers....I love and care for you all....
please don't worry...we are gonna be just fine! God has an amazing plan for my life and I know its gonna be wonderful and I will be HAPPY!!! Everyone deserves to be....even me...
Alrighty...well....Gramma even though I told you happy birthday the other day I wanted to say Happy Birthday again!! Your a wonderful gramma and I love you very very much......I miss you too...I hope you know how much you truly mean to me even though I may not get to tell you as much as I would like to. SHELBY HAS A KITTY!!

This past weekend we went to stay at my mom and dad's and they got Shelby a new kitty! Her name is Cookie. She's a sweet cat. She's already spade (sp?) and is current on all of her shots. The only thing I need to do now is get her declawed. Not that she is scratching Shelby or anything...I don't want her scratching up my furniture. Shelby loves her..she needed her I think...b/c there wont be any new siblings anytime soon! ok..well I hope you all have a great week and enjoy the nice weather!

This is me and one of the best friends I have ever had in my life! Her name is Briana. She is a BIG reason of why I'm still here today...
I just wanted to let her know how much I love and appreciate her and our friendship. Life throws us some crazy curve balls, but with friends like her we get through anything. She is such a beautiful person inside and out! She is a very very strong person and has taught me so many things that I'm sure she doesn't even realize she's taught me. I love you Briana! This is my Annalise!! I thought she looked like Jessica in this picture. Anywho...we finally went to visit again!! I love her so much...She seems to always have an adorable smirk on her face!
Shelby wanted to get her so badly. I think she thought Annalise was one of her baby dolls.
Uncle Chris finally sees her and gets to have a chance to hold her...
And of course I am more than happy to hold my lil sweetness! She's gotten so much bigger since the last time I had held her! Which is wonderful!!! Me and Jessica were talking the other day about how far apart our girls were and they are just barely gonna miss not starting school together. We just know that Annalise and Shelby will be the best of friends! I can't wait until they can actually play together! K well...I will talk to ya'll later!

Let me explain this picture...Chris put up the safety gate b/c Shelby likes to crawl down that hall and go into the bathroom and play with the toilet seat and the tub...anything she can get herself to stand up with really. I'm afraid she's gonna fall in there and bust one her new teeth out. You may be asking well Jennifer where are you while she's doing all this. My reply...I am running in after her. She crawls SUPER fast now. One minute she's right by my feet and the next she's in another room. Anywho onto the story...Shelby had a hold of the gate and was shaking it back and forth I think she thought it would get her somewhere to do that. Chris was that way and I was obviously right behind her, but this girl is a big daddy's girl and she wanted Daddy! Well...she finally gave up and did the funniest thing I have seen her do....this next picture says it all....Have a great day folks

Hmmm....
I really don't have tons and tons to write about today, but Justin told me he wanted me to update this...so....HERE!!! Oh, yeah....we moved this past weekend...I HATE moving, but to save money is to save money! It's a really cute place...I hung up all my decor and pictures today so it's becoming home to me. Shelby loves it...I let her crawl all over the place...She just started pulling up to stand a few days ago...needless to say we have had A LOT of falls...but she's alright I can't keep catching her everytime..so...yeah...ha ha...
I can't believe she is going to be a year old soon! Ugh...I'm already boo-hooing just thinking about it...I actually cried when I made her twelve month appointment...how crazy am I?!
Crazy in love with her is what I am...

Annalise is HOME!!!!

I was so excited to see my niece and hold her....

Jessica is not wanting any visitors for a while so she can get used to some kind of schedule, but she wanted me to come....

I know Shelby is getting older and bigger, but I don't realize it unless I see littler babies or look at pictures like these where her head was as big as the palm of my hand...
She was so tiny....now she is quite a handful in more ways than one. I have to say though, that the older she gets the more fun we have....I love getting to sleep through the night....I don't miss waking up every other hour at all! She really and truly is the BEST thing I have ever done. She's the one person who never gets tired of me...I think that in all honesty I need her just as much as she needs me....I think God knew that all along....she is definately what keeps me going even though I don't want to sometimes.
Everything I do is for her....
I sacrifice all and anything....
I've been quite emotional since Jessica's baby Annalise was born...I never thought I would see so many tiny babies all smaller than Shelby ever was....I saw a baby that weighed only a pound and a half! It tears me up and hurts my heart....I haven't been able to visit Annalise since a day before Christmas Eve.....not that I don't want to....I know Annalise is fine and will be going home very soon....it's just a baby died on Christmas Eve....and I can't handle going in the NICU and seeing all those precious little miracles and wonder if that baby is going to live or not. I always thought that I was a strong person, but when it comes to this....I just can't handle it.....
My sister, however is one of the strongest people I have ever met....I would have never have been able to handle having to leave my newborn in the hospital....of course I know you do whatever is best for the baby, but I would have lost it. I thank God everyday for my daughter's health....it wasn't but a year ago I had to run all kinds of tests because they thought Shelby was going to have all kinds of problems.....but she doesn't have one.....except a nut for a mother....but hey....she stills loves me more than anyone! Ok....well....thanks for the therapy session....I needed it....lol.....

Shelby's First Christmas!

Shelby had a wonderful first Christmas! On Christmas Eve we went to her great grandma Wells house where her great uncle and Aunt and cousin were also. She got a baby cd player (LOUD), a rabbit (even louder), and some cute cute clothes! After her house we always used to go to my Granny's(Shelby's great great grandma), but she now lives in a retirement community, so we go to one of my great aunt's house....we have been there before, but for some reason we drove around for about 45 minutes in the rain....crazy crazy...anywho....we finally got there,we ate too much and Shelby got a Christmas teddy bear from one of her 3rd cousins I think...lol.... then we went back to my mom and dad's. They didn't wanna wake up with just them...so...we stayed over...it was great....just like old times....we brought our gifts over for Shelby so she opened those first...then the gamma and gampas and uncle justin's. Then, we went to her great grandma Vances and her g-aunt Sarah and uncle Cipriano, and g-uncle Adam were there also where she got even more fun toys to play with! We didn't get to stay a real long time, b/c we had to head up to Chris' mom's house so I could help cook for other family that was coming for dinner....She got some really nice gifts there too...all in all this Christmas has been the best one so far! Not only did we celebrate Jesus' birth, but we also got to celebrate Shelby's first Christmas, and my new niece Annalise's birth!!! God is just SO good! He keeps on blessing us all and I know I could never thank Him enough, but I will continue to try my hardest! I hope each of you had an unforgettable Christmas yourselves! I am an Aunt!!!!!
My sister had her baby girl yesterday at about 4:30 p.m.
She is a beautiful beautiful baby.....
her name is Annalise Faith Sackreiter
she weighs 5 lbs. 10 oz.
18 1/2 inches long.
I would like to take the time to ask all of you to keep my new niece and her mother in your thoughts and prayers....
My sister is more than likely going home tomorrow, but unfortunately she wont be able to take Annalise with her.
Annalise's lungs aren't fully developed just yet, so she is getting some assistance....it could be anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks.....but I know in my heart that she will be just fine.
My sister is a stronger woman than I could ever be....not but 9 months ago I had my little miracle....to see something so tiny and precious with all these tubes and things coming in and out everywhere just breaks my heart, but I thank the Lord above that He gives the doctors and nurses the knowledge and technology to keep Annalise breathing. My sister knows just like all mothers "know" about the health of their babies....it's like this calm feeling that God gives us all so we don't panic and make things worse than they are. I love you so so very much Jessica Lee, and I am the proudest I have ever been of you....you did a wonderful job and the way you are handling everything amazes me even more....I'm so thankful to have you for my sister and my best friend....you are not only an amazing aunt, but now a wonderful new mother....your gonna be so great! I love you and can't wait for the BOTH of you to be home......

Me and my best friend Jennifer went out and about this morning to Wal-mart....obviously Caitlyn and Shelby loved the Rudolph doll....the nose lights up....fascination for them both....anywho....after our trip there we went out to lunch, and after we got to her mom's house the two girls were out cold....it was like they did everything at the same times today....I love them so much....I can't wait until they are older and really start playing together!!!

Today we went to Shelby's great gramma Well's house!!
Shelby and I have both been sick on and off for the last month, but I have been missing a lot of people and wanted to visit.....
I originally went by to surprise my G-Ma Vance, but she wasn't home..... :(
So, i decided to travel a lil further to visit my other grandmother I hadn't seen since my sister's baby shower...
While I was there we watched that movie "The Lake House". It was soooo good....I'm gonna go out and buy it for myself for Christmas...lol...
She gave Shelby an early present it's the shirt she has on in the picture....it says.."Who needs Santa I've got Grandma!"
so so so so true....
I am still waiting for the pics from this past weekend's Christmas party to share with you all...I had forgotten my camera, but luckily my mother didn't...so....until then....have a great day er night.....

I wanted to wish you a VERY happy birthday...you are the best mother a daughter could ever ask for....you have always put us before yourself, and you still do...You are my inspiration and my true hero....I know your life hasn't been the easiest, but you chose the right path, when you could have easily done what's been done many times before...

So, yesterday me and my Shelby had a lil day out.....we both NEED it once in a while....my sister called me around lunchtime and said she had the rest of the day off, so she took me to eat at McCalisters.(YUMMO). And, afterwards we went to Hobby Lobby....I have a Christmas party to go to tomorrow, and we are only getting gifts for the kids, but....I was going to make these very cute initial bags, well.....I have NO time....so now I have NO gifts, so I guess we will have to once again venture out....prolly drive to Killeen today...Oh yeah....I finally got my Jetta back! WOO HOO!!!! I missed my lil car.....and since they fixed it....yeah....ummm.....it goes SUPER fast! I have to put it on cruise so I wont speed.....eeekkk.....ok., well I will be posting pics from the party later this weekend....Hope everybody has a great one! BY THE WAY>>>>> I MISS you Grandma!!! I LOVE HER...

I've only been a mommy for a very short time...but....she is my best friend...the love I have for her is so unexplainable only a mother would know what I mean...she NEVER gets tired of me...she is always wanting me...I'll have to admit that it's can be very frustrating not to have the time to even soak in a nice hot bath before being summoned by her royal highness...but....frustrating as it is I will always love this fact. It is so funny how she knows when we are going somewhere...she becomes "hyper" Shelby...for those of you who haven't gotten to see her in a while due to the fact that she and I have been under the weather...she has all these new facial expressions....it makes me wonder....do I make those same silly faces? It's also amazing how one day she looks like I did when I was her age and then the next week she looks just like Chris did....she is always changing and doing something new....I don't think she will ever do the "real" crawl...she has this scooting thing down, and she is FAST! Constant Shelby patrol over here....she is finding things on the ground that I have no earthly idea where they came from....I vacuum the floor....not two minutes later she has found something....drives me bananas...I can't believe that on the 31st my baby will be 9 months old already...it feels like just yesterday she was born and barely weighed 6 pounds. I have come to realize that the older she gets the more fun we have! Her personality is very humorous...thank goodness she gets my sense of humor! ;) My mom and dad always tell me I acted just like she does when I was her age...well...I am going to end for now....she has just woken up....have a wonderful and blessed day everybody! xoxo~Jennifer Rene'

My Christmas Tree

We out up our tree after Thanksgiving, but I finally put on all my decorations....in the picture I know it's lacking a topper, but I just got one....a star....I also went Christmas shopping for my Shelby the other night, I only got her a few things, but I'm poor, and she is just a baby....besides that her grandparents and other family will be giving her plenty....I got her a baby tetherball thing (lol), a dancing turtle, a lily leapfrog, a new outfit, and a snowman rubber duck, Santa rubber duck, and a happy new year rubber duck....I'm so excited to spend our first Christmas with her...she is THE BEST gift I have ever received... The hard thing is that we have a lot of family who wants to see us all on the same day....it's very very hard....especially now with Shelby...funny how before she was born, it was ok if we couldn't make it, and now the world is coming to an end....ha ha ha....I love it though....better get used to it....Ok...well....that's all for now....I hope everyone has a safe weekend and STAY WARM!!!! xoxo~Jennifer

Time Warner Christmas Party!
This past Friday night Chris and I went to the Time Warner Christmas party! It was sooo much fun...the theme was red carpet style....so even though you can't tell by the pictures I wore a velvet pantsuit, it was sleeveless and the straps were rhinstones, and the bottom of the pants were partly sheer and had bling bling beading....it was pretty... they had a celebrity look alike contest and I won it....didn't win anything but a free glass of wine, that was ok with me though...lol. They thought I looked like Kirsti Alley....Don't exactly know if that is a good or a bad thing...but oh well....it was nice to have a date with my husband and not think about changing diapers or bottles! But, I sure did miss my Shelby! I love the holidays and will look forward to all the fun parties we get to go to! xoxo~Jennifer

Funny Moment for the Week

On Sunday afternoon we went to my mother's house. Before we left Shelby was soooo hyper, but then on the way to Killeen she conked out. Doesn't really seem all that funny until you hear what she did and see the picture. She loves this Kermit the frog doll my sister gave her. Well she always chews on his foot, the funny moment is when I look back and see her sacked out with KTF's foot in her mouth! Too cute! xoxo~Jennifer

Fun Time at the Wingo's!

Shelby loves spending time our best friends Michael and Jennifer Wingo's two children Mikey, who is 4, and Caitlyn, who was born 3 days after Shelby. (8 months now) This past Saturday we went to my best friend's house and had Bar-b-cue, and then watched a movie, The Bench Warmers, it was hilarious. Caitlyn and Shelby are just now getting to the point where they sort of play together, they are too cute. I think they both think the other is a baby doll to play with. It is amazing to me that our baby's are already 8 months old! The time really goes by so very fast! Me and Jennifer were out and about together today, and we were talking about how this time last year we were pregnant and couldn't wait for our baby girls to get here, and now we are trying to decide what to buy them for Christmas...I am so very blessed to have the very best friend anyone could ask for. We have been best friends now for over 8 years, but it feels like there was never a time we weren't. I love that our children get to grow up together and be the best of friends. Thanksgiving 2006

Shelby's first Thanksgiving was wonderful! We stayed the night at my parent's house, because I was helping my mother cook, and get things ready for the next day. I made the stuffing and the waldorf salad, of course with the instructions of mommy dearest. My sister Jessica and her husband Scott, and my brother Justin were all there. Scott and Jessica entertained my Shelby while I was in the kitchen helping my mother cook. Shelby loved the cranberry sauce and stuffing and of course the yams. She doesn't like mashed potatoes....she made some pretty hilarious faces when we tried to give her that. And for dessert she had a lil taste of pumpkin pie and loved it! After we got finished eating, I had to hurry up and get ready, because we had to go to my mother-in-law's house and see my hubby's side of the family. All in all we had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. I am so very very thankful to our Lord and Savior for giving us a new baby daughter to celebrate in all the Holiday and family time. I can't wait until next Thanksgiving, because then my new little niece Annalise will be here! lol...that rymed... I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving and took the time to thank the good Lord for all He has blessed you with, and continues to bless us all with, even though we don't deserve it. The Holiday's through my baby's eyes...

As you know this is going to be Shelby's first Christmas, so this past weekend we went to her gamma and gampa's house and gampa started to put up their Christmas tree. Shelby was in awe of it all. As I have said before I feel as though I am getting to see a whole new world through Shelby's eyes, and I am just dumbfounded by how such little things make her so so very happy. It teaches all of us not to take anything lightly, every new and different thing is wonderful. I used to think that when I was younger that those were the best Christmas' I had ever had, until now. This is going to truly be the best one yet, I am so excited to see how she reacts to all the presents and FUN family time! My dad (gampa) and her have this wonderful little bond, and she loves him so much, and he was so excited to have their tree be the first one Shelby ever got to see or feel. I was telling my husband's aunt all of this and while I was telling her I also told her that we wanted and needed a new Christmas tree, because the one we had got messed up last Christmas, and she was soooooo sweet and she went out and bought a 7 1/2 foot prelit tree for us, and some ornaments! Chris had to put it up last night(I know it's early), but we are going to be decorating it later. Sorry the pictures aren't in the order I wanted them to be in. But, this past Saturday my mother and I hosted a baby shower for my sister Jessica. (http://www.momtobe07.blogspot.com) She had a wonderful turnout and got a lot of really nice things for Annalise! A friend of mine's mother made her cake. If you can't read what it says it said " Someone special someone dear, Annalise is almost here!" It was copied from the invitations. We had close to 40 people there. She was really excited and got emotional of course, but then again so did I. If you look on her blog you will read a sweet sweet poem that was given to her in a frame, if your a mother be prepared with tissues!!! I have more pictures from the event, but this is all I could fit on here for now. The picture of Shelby is after the whole ordeal and she was just tuckered out! Congrats Jessica you are going to be a wonderful mother! I hope you enjoyed your shower!

So, yesterday we went to the Cameron Park Zoo. It was Shelby's first time and she loved it! The funniest thing was the turtles in the aqaurium...she loved them and kept trying to grab them. The turtles liked her too, one of them hit it's head on the glass trying to get to her. So my mom got her a stuffed turtle to remember today by. We went down a slide together that goes underwater, and she was squealing with delight everytime we went down it. Chris had to go down it with her, her grandma had to, and so did uncle Justin, and of course I did like a dozen times...lol...but we all had a lot of fun. It is really neat to relive childhood through my daughter's eyes....everything so new and undiscovered. She is such a blessing and I look forward to lots more new adventures to discover with her.

So, this past weekend was pretty interesting, let me tell ya. Saturday morning I went to the Rosebud city garage sale with my husband, mother-in-law and my daughter Shelby. It was very chilly, but a lot better than being extremely hot like it was last year. I have to say I was pretty dissappointed, I mean I found a few things, but last year there was just so much good stuff and this weekend there was just a bunch of junk. So after that we went to my husband's aunts house, I cut their hair every two weeks or so, she has a really nice camera and we wanted to have her take our first family portraits, instead of having to pay a photographer. Well, my husband was not feeling well, but we did get Shelby's pictures taken, and there are some of the most adorable pictures she has ever had. They are editing and taking out red eye and all that, but when they get finished I will be posting some of them on here for everyone to see. I have been wanting a digital camera for a while now, especially after I had Shelby, and we were going to get one Christmas time, but Chris aunt gave me her old one that she bought 2 years ago. It works great and it holds 560 pictures on the card. I was SOOOO happy to have one. Shelby does things that only I see sometimes and wished I had had a camera, but now I do. So yesterday was a long day. I had been missing my dad a whole lot, he only lives about 25 miles away or so, but he works a lot of hours at his job, so we don't get to see each other as much as we would all like. So, Chris and I took my mom and dad to lunch at Chilis. They had this great special going on where you get a half rack of ribs, a salad, and a dessert for $9.99. It was WONDERFUL!! After that we went to my parent's house and watched Over the Hedge, which is really cute and hilarious. Then we came home and just took it easy the rest of the day. Now I am behind on laundry again! (the story of my life) lol. So, yeah...I guess I could keep rambling on and on, but I better go for now so I can get some rest...I have to go to the denstist tomm, eeek. Yes...I am new to the "blog" thing, but my lovely grandma introduced me to it, so let me know how I'm doing. It was my baby girls first Halloween, and she was a sunflower( the cutest one you will ever see, don't ya think?). My grandma painted the little freckles on her nose and cheeks, that was just the icing on the cake. She got all kinds of goodies. Her great grandmother (lookingatmygardenupsidedown) made her a pumpkin jar filled with suckers that I get to enjoy. Her grandma (my momma) got her a little pumpkin basket filled with new socks, a little outfit, a new teething ring, a sweet card, and a helium pumpkin balloon (she LOVES balloons), her auntie jessica got her a cute card for her first Halloween, and her other grandma (my momma in law) got her a little stuffed animal. Let me tell you, she is just NOT spoiled at all (sarcasm). This is only Halloween, not Christmas, but when Shelby is involved no one can resist her, definately not me. She just makes everyone so very happy! My mom is a beautiful woman inside and out, but when she is with Shelby, she truly glows. My mother hasn't had the easiest life, but she is the best mom I could have ever asked for....she is my inspiration, and I would LOVE to follow in her foot steps. Ok ok ok...I'll stop with the mooshy(sp?) talk...for now...I really need to go to bed. hey grandma I copied the pics to post from you! I love em! and I definately LOVE YOU!!!!!
